    Learning and stuff

Tomorrow I start a week of training to learn how to become a Smith System instructor. I like the Smith System. It’s a highly effective way to teach a driver to drive safely.

I kind of laugh, though. There isn’t anything particularly revolutionary about the 5 Safety Keys:

    1. Aim High in Steering
    2. Get the Big Picture
    3. Keep Your Eyes Moving
    4. Leave Yourself an Out
    5. Make Sure They See You

Basically, one guy compiled five common-sense rules for driving and made a mint from them.

Eh, whatever. It should be a decent week, but I hope it’s not too painful. Forty hours of Smith System is a lot.
